About Sabiad B.V.

Sabiad B.V. is an innovative biotech startup based in Heerenveen, focusing on the development and commercialization of advanced diagnostic and therapeutic solutions in the field of infectious diseases. We are currently working on a point-of-care detection test for Staphylococcus aureus (SA) in synovial fluid in collaboration with UMCG and LUMABS.

Your role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team on a part-time basis (1-2 days per week, with the potential to grow into a full-time position). The ideal candidate will have experience in project management roles, particularly within the biotechnology sector and R&D on antibodies. This role is important in ensuring the timely and successful completion of our ongoing projects, especially the development of our SA detection test.

Key responsibilities

Lead and manage project activities, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met.
Liaise with project partners, including UMCG, LUMABS, and third-party institutions like MCL, Martini Ziekenhuis, and Isala, to coordinate project efforts and disseminate information.
Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring smooth project execution.
Prepare and analyze project reports, including technical progress and financial reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Oversee the project budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial plans.
Assist in the preparation of documentation for regulatory approvals (IVDR, FDA) in collaboration with regulatory teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of project management experience in biotechnology or R&D, with a track record of successful project completions.
